Geraldine "Gerry" Casey

Geraldine “Gerry” Casey nee Novak.

She was a strong woman of faith.

Loving mother of Patricia (Lance) Lucado. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Chad Verbano) Lucado and Robert Lucado. Sister of the late Anne & John Jalowiec, and Kathleen & Patrick Griffin.Dear aunt of Bryan (Michelle) Griffin, Kevin (Jill) Griffin, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Special friend of Sharon Brennan.

Retired after 25 years on 7 South at Christ Hospital. She was known to all for her love of chocolate. She will always be remembered for her care giving, especially for her mother and sister Kathi, and every stray cat that found her. Her legacy is the kindness she shared so generously with all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Funeral Saturday, December 13th, 9:15 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church for Mass at 10:00 am.

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Visitation Friday, December 12th from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
