Sister Kay McIntyre, RSM, 103 years, Beloved Sister of Mercy for 83 years.

Devoted daughter of the late Katie nee Grant & James McIntyre.

Prayer Service and Visitation, Friday, September 18, 2026 from  9:00 am until 10:15 am at Mercy Hall, Illinois Room, 10044 S. Central Park in Chicago.

Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:30 at Mercy Chapel.

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Sister Kay spent decades in classrooms and school offices as a dedicated teacher and principal. She loved her students with her whole heart, always guiding them with patience, wisdom, and genuine care.

She came to Mercy Circle and showed everyone how to live with gratitude and simple joy. Most of all, we remember the profound bond between Sister Kay and the Mercy Circle associates. She loved all those who cared for her dearly, greeted everyone with kindness, and was treasured by all.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sisters of Mercy, 10024 S. Central Park, Chicago, Illinois 60655 would be greatly appreciated.
