Claire Jeanne Heaney aged 93, born June 5, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away at Grace Point Place in Oak Lawn.

Beloved wife of the late Frank Heaney.

Loving mother of Cathryn (Robert) Lanenga, the late Judith (the late Alan) Straub.

Proud Grandmother of Sarah (Dustin & beloved great grandson Dominick) Howlett, Eric Straub, Jeanne (Kolby) Smethers ,the late Kirk Straub & Jennifer Kennedy.

Cherished great grandmother of Hudson, Harper, Phoebe, Juniper, Bentley & Maddox.

Devoted daughter of the late Roy & Carol Anderson.

Cherished sister of the late Carol (the late Joe) Perisin & Roy (the late Kathleen) Anderson.

Fond aunt & godmother of many nieces, nephews & godchildren.

Jeanne Graduated from Chicago’s Teachers College. She taught many years in Chicago Public Schools.  She had many friends and maintained the friendships throughout her life, especially The Flames. She was a social butterfly that loved a great experience and never wanted to miss a good time.

Resting at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn where Services will take place Thursday, September 10th at 11:00 am.

Interment St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation Thursday September 10th from 9:00 am until the time of Services at 11:00 am.
