Arlene M. Marzano

Arlene “Ar” M. Marzano (nee Spain), age 90; Beloved wife of the late James A. Marzano for 67 years; Devoted mother of Guy, Suzanne and Kristina; Loving daughter of the late Francis and Helen Spain; Dear sister of Betty (the late Bud) Mason, the late Marty Spain and Alice (the late Philip) Kuhn; Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews; and a true friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Arlene loved crossword puzzles, gardening, cooking, reading and most of all, spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, IL.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 10621 S. Kedvale Ave., Oak Lawn for Mass at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Rd., Hillside, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Catherine of Alexandria, 10621 S. Kedvale Ave., Oak Lawn, IL 60453.
