Edward C Buchalo, “Ed” to family and friends, “Mr B” to his many Students over the years.
Loving father of Eddie (Nancy)Buchalo, & the late Paul Buchalo.
Cherished Grandfather of Yamileth and Jesica.
Beloved Son of the late Michael and Cecelia (Miklik) Buchalo.
Dear Brother of Mary (the late David) O’Brien, the late Jack (Linda) Buchalo, the late Michael (Patricia) Buchalo, & the late James Buchalo.
Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Life Long Educator since 1970, 20+yrs @ Stoney Creek Elementary, Dist 126 MCC Day School. Substitute Teacher in the CPS School System, Joliet Diocese School System, Chicago Diocese School System, as well as, in the High Schools of the far south suburbs.
1979-1989 served as Secretary of the Board of Education Dist. 142.
1993-1997 served as Member of the Board of Education for H.S. Dist. 228.
Member of St Christopher Parish -Midlothian, Illinois since 1976.
1978-1989 Taught 8th grade C.C.D. As well as a member of the Knight’s of Columbus in the 1980’s.
Ed enjoyed playing guitar and teaching it to anyone that wanted to learn. Ed enjoyed movies and eventually did “extra” work in some local television series, as well as, in several movies over the years.
My Father touched many people’s lives over the years in many different ways.
