Ronald “Ronnie” Buscemi, age 75, of New Lenox, IL, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025.

Born in Cicero, Ron was a graduate of St. Valentine School, Morton West High School, and the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he earned a degree in engineering and was a proud member of the Pi Alpha Tau fraternity.

Ron was the beloved husband of Patti and devoted father to Robyn, Christopher, Ryan (Lauren), and Kevin (Jola). He was a proud Papa to his cherished grandchildren: Michael, Maeve, and Isla, and grandpets: Coco, Lou, Lola, Lucky, and Peanut. He is also survived by his loving brothers, Rick and Jack (Kathi), and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss his humor, loyalty, and lively conversation.

Ron was many things—a passionate animal lover, a die-hard Cubs fan (through thick and thin), and perhaps most notably, Donald Trump's greatest fan. He never missed an opportunity to share a story, a laugh, or an opinion. His love for family and country ran deep, and his presence will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
