Rose Marie Kubush

Rose Marie Kubush, age 99, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025.

Rose lived a long, full, and beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and deep devotion to the people around her. Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles “Chuck” Kubush; her dear friend Tony Parise; and her loving parents, the late John and Theresa Mihovilovich; and her late brother, John Mihovilovich.

A dedicated and accomplished professional, Rose worked at the Federal Reserve Bank for an extraordinary 45 years, retiring as an Assistant Vice President. She approached her work with loyalty, integrity, and pride, earning the respect of all who worked alongside her.

Rose loved to travel and spent many joyful years as part of a social club with close friends. She had a great appreciation for jewelry, a sweet spot for chocolate, and a wonderful personality marked by her dry sense of humor. Her warmth and wit made her a joy to be around.

In 2017, Rose made a meaningful move to Antioch to be closer to her niece and nephews, whom she adored. Family was the center of her life. She was always there for her loved ones—steadfast, loving, and generous with her time and care.

Rose was the cherished aunt of: John (Donna) Mihovilovich, Jim (Neta) Mihovilovich, Joe (Carol) Mihovilovich, Jerry (Kim) Mihovilovich, Jeff (Natalie) Mihovilovich, Mike (Cheri) Mihovilovich, and Mary Ann (Bill) Mihovilovich.

She is also survived by many great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.

Rose will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love, strength, and spirit will remain in the hearts of those she touched.
