Anthony F. Mandl

Anthony "Tony" F. Mandl, aged 84, passed away Saturday morning, November 29, 2025. He was born on May 22, 1941 in Bokane, Croatia (then Yugoslavia), to his late parents, Joseph and Theresa Mandl. Tony was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, companion and friend to countless. His demeanor carried an air of kindness and gentleness rooted in the importance of being surrounded by family and friends. To know him meant you knew you had a friend for life.  Tony is preceded in death by his late wife of 44 years, Mary (nee Flasch). He is survived by his children Linda, Jim (Doreen), and John (Lisa); cherished grandchildren Austin, Zoe and Grayson; beloved brother Joe (Dolores) Mandl; cherished nephew Peter (Jen) and niece Susan; and many extended family and friends who all loved him deeply. Visitation Friday, December 5th from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Saturday, December 6th, 9:15 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church for Mass at 10:00 am. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
