Cathleen Ellen Shive, nee Denton, 70 years, passed away on November 23, 2024.

Beloved mom of Ira (Nicole) Shive III, & Morgan Shive.

Cherished grammy of Ashley, Ellen, Noah, & Jacob.

Devoted daughter of the late John & Ellen Denton.

Dear sister of Patricia (Michael) Lyons, Jacqueline (Richard) Kalis, Dorothy Denton, John (Kathryn) Denton, & James (Theresa) Denton.

Loving niece of the late Tim & Ruthie Morrison.

Fond aunt of several nieces & nephews.

Cathy enjoyed morning walks, going out to breakfast, puzzles of any kind (especially crosswords and Soduku), 70’s rock, country music, a cold beer and a good pizza. She will be missed for her easy laugh, beautiful smile and generous heart.

A private lady, Cathy requested there be no service.  

Arrangements entrusted to Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Tunnels to Towers Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
