Loving father of Kathleen Brannigan, Joseph Brannigan, Trisha Brannigan, & Daniel (Michelle) Brannigan. Cherished grandfather of Nathan, Daniel, Cole, & Sarah. Dear brother of Thomas (Jeanne) Brannigan & the late James (Margaret) Brannigan. Fond uncle of many nieces & nephews. Funeral Monday 10:30 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn to St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel, Chicago, for Mass at 11:30 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 1 pm until 9 pm. Former Director of Department of Central Services, Cook County government. Retired Superintendent of Illinois Bell.
