Charles E. “Chuck” Medows age 73, passed away peacefully February 17 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Jackie nee Entwistle Medows & the late Joyce nee Baldwin Medows. Loving father of Mark (Leslie) Medows, Kevin (Alissa) Medows, Kim Medows, Donna (Chris) Seymour & the late Kristi Petzke. Cherished grandfather of 10. Proud great grandfather of 1. Devoted son of the late Flora nee Hibbs & Denny Medows. Step son of Mildred nee Winslow Medows. Dear brother of Robert (Pam) Medows & the late Ben, Jim & Ken Medows. Step brother of 5. Brother in law of 6. Treasured uncle of many nieces & nephews. Resting at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn where Services will be held Saturday at 11 am. Interment private. Visitation Friday from 3 pm until 9 pm. A successful business man who sold and repaired paper shredders for much of his career, he was known as “The Shred Dr.” Chuck cherished time with family, made his grandchildren feel like they were the center of the universe, and brought joy and laughter to the lives of all who knew him. A man who enjoyed sports immensely, he was himself an accomplished baseball player.
