Marion A. Gecas nee Fanning. Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Gecas. Loving mother of Mary Ann (the late Kenneth) Hart and Joseph (Patricia) Gecas. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Gecas, Kenneth Hart, Kelly (Patrick) Pappas, Jennifer Doherty and Ronald Dudley. Proud great-grandmother of Nicholas, Jacob and Abigail Pappas, Jacob Gecas and Paige Doherty. Devoted sister of the late Edward Fanning, Sister Mary Reparta, R.S.M., Catherine and James Mullen, Leila and James O'Dwyer, Rose and Frank Murray and Charles Fanning. Treasured aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, December 29, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Funeral Friday 10:30 a.m. from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, to Sacred Heart Church, Palos Hills, for Mass at 11:30 a.m.

Entombment St. Mary Cemetery.
