Alice Maguire

Alice Marion Maguire (nee Carl) Age 97. Beloved wife of the late Richard G. Maguire Sr.; loving mother of Richard (Maria) Maguire Jr., Carolyn (Kenneth) Hamilton, Linda Maguire, and Ralph (Carolyn) Maguire; cherished grandmother to Frank (Anna), Annette, Ben, and Chris (Katie); fond great grandmother of Margaret Alice, Rafael, and Zoey; dearest sister of the late Kenneth E. Carl and Eleanor Kehrer; proud aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Alice was a church organist for over 60 years; worked over 25 years in Chicago Public Schools, primarily as choral director and music teacher at Calumet High School, longtime director of Voices of the Valley Chorus; past president of the Southwest Symphony Orchestra board of directors; also accompanist for the Dorian and Double Nickel choruses.
