Edward “Quick” Kowalewicz U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Veteran served in Okinawa & Vietnam. Loving father of Edward (Denise) Kowalewicz, Robert (Santa) Kowalewicz, Patricia (Ron) Rickman & Steven (Jody) Kowalewicz. Cherished grandfather of Tessa, Sam, Zachary, Joseph, Breanna, Michael & Jason. Dear brother of Charles (Brenda) Kowalewicz, Adam (Jeanne) Kowalewicz, Donna (Steve) Larson, Pam Heaver, Ron Heaver, Sharon (Scott) Deppe & the late Patricia (Claude) Wagner. Fond uncle of many nieces & nephews. Resting at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn where services will take place Thursday at 8:30 pm. Interment private. Visitation Thursday from 2 pm until the time of services at 8:30 pm. Founder of M.A.K.A.Member of the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
