Dorothy F. Erdman

Dorothy Frances Erdman nee Cachura age 99, passed away peacefully on July 4 2026. Born on February 7, 1927, Dorothy lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She witnessed nearly a century of history and embraced life’s many joys and challenges with grace, strength, and compassion.

Dorothy was a loving wife of many decades to Arthur Erdman , mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend. She found happiness in spending time with family, sharing stories, celebrating holidays, and creating lasting memories with those closest to her. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and generous heart touched everyone who knew her.

She will be remembered for her wisdom, quiet strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she influenced through her kindness.

Dorothy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her physical presence is gone, her love, values, and cherished memories will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Resting at Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn where Services will take place Saturday, July 11th at 10:30 am.

Interment St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation Saturday, July 11th from 9:00 am until the time of Services at 10:30 am.
